Terms & Conditions

Melbourne VIXENS - 2024 MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The below Terms & Conditions are relevant to the purchase of a 2024 Membership of the Melbourne Vixens. Terms & Conditions of Membership are subject to change and are at the discretion of Netball Victoria.

  1. Renewal Period
    2023 Melbourne Vixens Reserved Seat & Cheer Squad Members wishing to renew their seats or apply for a seating change must renew their membership before 5pm, Wednesday 6 December 2023. Any seats not renewed by this date will be made available to new members.

  2. New Reserved Seat Requests
    New and renewing members that have upgraded to a new Reserved Seat Membership will have their reserved seat allocated after mid-January 2024.

  3. Junior Memberships
    2024 Junior Membership holders must be under the age of 15 as of the 1 January 2024.

  4. Concession Memberships
    a) A 2024 Melbourne Vixens concession membership can only be purchased if the member holds one of the below eligible concession types accepted by the Melbourne Vixens:
    - Pension
    - Seniors Card
    - Full Time Student
    - Health Care Card
    b) Melbourne Vixens Members are to provide a photocopy of their valid concession card details when purchasing a 2023 Melbourne Vixens Membership. The concession card must be valid for the entire season.

  5. Family Memberships
    2024 Melbourne Vixens Family Memberships must consist of two (2) full adult and two (2) junior members or one (1) adult and three (3) junior members. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions for Junior Memberships for the age classifications.

  6. Payment Plan
    a) Members who choose to pay their membership on the Melbourne Vixens direct debit payment plan in 2024 will be charged a $10 service fee.
    b) The first instalment will be debited at the time of receiving the membership application. The remaining five instalments will be debited each on the 12th of the month from November 2023 through until March 2024.
    c) The Payment plan is not available for Beyond the Court members.

  7. Vixens 4 Life 
    a) By agreeing to the Vixens 4 Life payment option, Members authorise Netball Victoria to automatically renew their membership in October each year and debit their nominated credit card for the applicable membership fee (either monthly or in full) for the forthcoming year.
    b) Members will be given at least 10 days’ notice in writing of the relevant membership fee and any changes to the relevant Member’s membership category or entitlements before any Vixens 4 Life rollover takes effect.
    c) Members can opt out of the Vixens 4 Life payment option at the conclusion of their last instalment and prior to the first instalment for the following season by notifying Netball Victoria in writing or via email to membership@melbournevixens.com.au.

  8. Payment information
    Payments are made by credit/debit card only. All payments are made via our "Gateway Provider", Stripe (https://stripe.com); it is they who will contact your card issuer and request payment in real time and will either charge or reject the charge at the end of the checkout process. Should your payment be rejected you will be advised as to the reason given by your card issuer for the rejection – neither Expeed nor the Gateway Provider make any determination as to your ability to make payment or financial worthiness, save for required fraud-checking and all charge results that are shown are that as determined by your card issuer.

    When making payment, the Customer will either pay for the product in full, or elect (in some, but not all cases) to pay on a payment plan. When opting for a payment plan, the Customer will be advised of the payment interval dates and amounts. The indicated amount will be charged to the same card used for the initial payment on those interval dates. If the Customer becomes aware that the payment cannot be made on the specified interval date, they should contact the Club concerned to advise them and make alternative payment arrangements.

    The Gateway Provider is solely responsible for storing and processing of card details, and at no point do Sport Subs, the Club or any staff of either party get to see card details in full. At no point do card details entered on the Website get transmitted through or stored on the web servers of Sport Subs or the Club. Our Gateway Provider will issue Sport Subs with an encrypted “token” to represent the card details they have stored for the Customer’s card, and it is this token that Sport Subs refer to in all communications with the Gateway Provider. Masked details of the cards that the Gateway Provider has stored for Customer will be displayed in the MyAccount section of the Website, where the Customer can manage those cards and the purpose(s) for which they are used.

  9. Membership Packs
    a) Member benefits are as outlined via the Melbourne Vixens website and are subject to change.
    b) E-newsletter ‘The Huddle’, ‘Match Day Information’ and any additional emails are automatically communicated to members who provide a valid email address.
    c) Member Only Events – Members will have access to at least two Members Only events throughout the 2024 season. (subject to change). These events are for Members only and will require Members to present their 2023 Melbourne Vixens Membership Card to gain entry.

  10. Transferable Membership
    A 2024 Melbourne Vixens Membership is transferable to family and friends. A 2024 Melbourne Vixens Membership will give patrons one (1) entry entitlement per home game throughout the season based on the game entitlements of your membership. Please note that the transferring of memberships is subject to the classification (e.g concession & junior) of the membership.

  11. Membership Cards
    a) Full Court Reserved Seat and Cheer Squad Members will be issued with a membership card that will provide entry to all seven (7) home games. Your membership card is your ticket to enter the home games and must be presented upon entry.
    b) Flexi & Flexi Plus Full Court Members will be issued with a membership card that will provide you access to book tickets to seven (7) Melbourne Vixens home games through the Ticketek website. You will not be charged any additional transaction or booking fees through the Ticketek site.
    c) Flexi & Flexi Plus Short Pass Members will be issued with a membership card that will provide you access to book tickets to three (3) Melbourne Vixens home games through the Ticketek website. You will not be charged any additional transaction or booking fees through the Ticketek site. After being used for three (3) home games, this membership card will no longer be valid.
    d) Beyond the Court members will be issued with a membership card, but this card will not provide access to any Melbourne Vixens games.
    e) If barcoded membership cards are not permitted by the Department of Health, we will issue you with a digital ticket that you can use to access home games.

  12. Away Games
    Melbourne Vixens Memberships do not include access to any away matches. Should you wish to attend an away game, tickets will need to be purchased.

  13. Suncorp Super Netball League Finals ticket entitlements
    Finals Series ticketing is managed by Netball Australia, the organiser of the Suncorp Super Netball League. Your Melbourne Vixens season membership does not automatically grant you access to Finals Series matches.However, should the Melbourne Vixens make it to the Finals Series, Netball Australia will work closely with team management to ensure that as a season Member, you receive a priority purchase period to see your team contest the Finals Series.

  14. Refunds
    Melbourne Vixens memberships are non-refundable, however requests for refunds may be made and considered where reasonable circumstances apply. A request for refund must be made in writing and are at the sole discretion of the Membership Manager.

  15. COVID-19
    For the 2024 season, all existing Reserved Seat and General Admission membership products will remain the same as per previous seasons. We will keep members updated and informed if any changes need to occur to 2024 memberships pending COVID-19 venue guidelines.

ORDERING

Customer may order the products and services from Sport Subs by completing and submitting the order form on our website. In placing an order, Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

How to buy:

  • Place your order on our website;
  • Print or save your receipt order for your records;
  • You will receive an automated confirmation email from Sport Subs. Please do not reply, it is an automated response to your order;
  • Please make a payment according to the amount quoted in the invoice. The goods ordered from Sport Subs must be prepaid and funds are cleared before we despatch the products.

PRICING INFORMATION

All goods and services attract the Australian Federal Government Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%. The prices shown for products include postage and handling and GST, and the total GST paid is shown in the Tax Invoice. All monetary values shown on this site are Australian Dollars (AUD). Additional charges may be applied by the relevent sporting organisation for international orders.

All prices on Sport Subs are for on-line purchases only and will not be matched at a retail location. It is possible from time to time that some product prices may differ between on-line and other retail outlets for varying reasons.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Errors or omissions are acceptable.
Photographs and graphics are used for representational purposes only and may not be the exact product or configuration as described.

REFUND POLICY:

No refunds will be provided, unless specified by Fair Trading Legislation. Refunds must be claimed within 7 days from the date of purchase. All products refunded must be in original condition including packaging. Any products returned may incur up to a 20 % restocking fee. All cost incurred in returning the product to Sport Subs for repair, replacement or credit are the customer’s responsibility.

  • Customer must notify us and obtain RA (return authorisation) before any products are returned.
  • A copy of original invoice must be sent with the goods.
  • An RA doesn’t guarantee credit, repair or replacement. It is just an authorisation to return products to us.
  • Please check the specifications and compatibility of the products being ordered to ensure they are what you want as we do not sell goods on a trial basis.
  • We do not refund or credit for incorrect purchase.
  • No credit is available for any freight paid.
  • RA is valid for 7 days only.
  • If you receive a product that appears to have been ‘Damaged in transit”, that is damaged in transit from Sport Subs to you, you should refuse to accept delivery of the goods and notify us immediately.

If Sport Subs is warned from delivering the products because of any act of God, industrial dispute, lock-out, fire, flood, war, transport delays or any other cause beyond its control then it shall be entitled at its option to either extend the time for delivery until a reasonable period after such cause has ceased or to cancel the sale and in neither case shall the customer have any claim for loss or damage against Sport Subs.

CHANGES TO TERMS

Each order is bound by the terms and conditions current when the order is placed. Sport Subs may change these terms and conditions without notice. It is your responsibility to read and understand these terms and conditions each time you places an order. All purchases under this website and these terms and conditions are subject to the laws of South Australia, Australia

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND DELIVERING OF ORDERS

Sport Subs will in no way be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, resulting from your use or your inability to use this website or for the cost of procurement of substitute products or services or resulting from any products or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through this website or resulting from unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data or of any information contained on this website, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, use, data or other intangible, even if Sport Subs has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
