  • The emu feathers represent the emu constellation in the sky.
  • The emu’s position in the sky signals at what point it is best to act.
  • When the emu is on the eastern horizon after sunset it indicates a quiet time, for me this feels like the first part
  • of our season still finding our feet.
  • Later in the year when the emu makes its way up higher into the sky and its body is directly overhead,
  • traditionally this indicates the prime time, time to collect emu eggs or for us as players this is our time to act,
  • to zone in and take that top spot that we’ve been working hard and preparing ourselves for during that quiet time.
